Facts: Claimant was 41 years old. On February 25, 2009 the claimant was using a skill saw and cut off two of his left fingers. The injury caused permanent nerve damage. The claimant was able to return to work over a year after his injury.

Case Result: At the hearing, the claimant was awarded retroactive benefits in the amount of $7700. Because he was back to work he was not entitled continued benefits, but was awarded benefits for the closed period of time which helped him pay off some of the bills that he incurred while he was out of work.
