While the laws in most states consider our loving pets to be mere property, we know that our pets are much more than that. They are a valued family member who will always put a smile on our face and make us happy, no matter how down we might be.

As we age and starting considering our assets and responsibilities, how can we forget the responsibilities that we have to our pets?

We regularly find that, with a Revocable Trust, individuals can set aside a modest amount of funds so that their pets can continue to live long, happy lives should they predecease them. In lieu of a trust, some individuals simply establish a separate Will provision. A Revocable Trust is much more effective, however, since it takes effect immediately and does not require the assistance of probate administration which can cause delays.

Your pet never stops loving you. Make certain that you never stop loving your pet, even after you pass.
