Women in the Military

Women have become a vital link in our national defense. They serve at all ranks of the enlisted soldier and officer. The Army is now researching several brigade combat teams which include women to consider eliminating the former “no women in direct combat” rule.

Bravo to these women soldiers of 2-4 Infantry Division, Ft Carson CO; 2-1 Cavalry Division, 3-1 CD and 3rd Cavalry Regiment, Ft Hood TX; 3-1 ID, Ft Knox KY; the famous 3-10th Mountain Division, Ft Drum NY; 4-101st Air Assault, Ft Campbell KY; and 2-25th ID snf 3-25th ID, Schofield Barracks HI.
